The mission of the owners of De Compagnie is not only the production of excellent wines but also the cultural enrichment in the symbioses of art, food and culture.

Riana Scheepers, award winning Afrikaans author, presents her popular course in creative writing at De Compagnie Wine Estate. Young (and old) aspirant writers can indulge themselves in the beautiful historical setting and the wonderful world of literature.

Cultural evenings with music, song and poetry readings are held from time tot time in the historic cellar.
